Job summary

RAJVEER ENTERPRISES is seeking a Purchase Engineer for its operations near Alandi Phata, Chakan. The role requires B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering and 4–7 LPA compensation.

You will manage end-to-end procurement, identify suppliers, evaluate quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure timely material availability. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Stores, Engineering, and Accounts to optimize costs and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Purchase & Procurement processes.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, engineering components, consumables, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
• Obtain and analyze quotations from multiple vendors.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, lead time, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Engineering, and Accounts teams.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production interruptions.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and follow up on pending/overdue POs.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with required quality and technical specifications.
• Handle supplier quality, delivery, and commercial issues.
• Develop alternate sources and support cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation, and procurement MIS.
• Conduct supplier evaluation and support vendor development activities.
• Monitor market trends, material prices, and availability.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
