Job summary

Asb Enterprises in Chakan, Pune is urgently seeking a Purchase Engineer with 0-2 years experience in manufacturing procurement. The role focuses on sourcing, cost optimization, vendor development and ensuring timely delivery of materials for SPM/project-based machine manufacturing.

Candidate should have DME/BE Mech, be willing to travel for supplier follow-ups and possess good MS Office skills. SAP B1 experience would be a plus in our SAP-driven environment.

Qualifications

• DME/BE Mech qualification
• 0-2 years experience in manufacturing/project-based procurement
• Knowledge of procurement in sheet metal, gears, machining parts
• Willingness to travel for vendor follow-up

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all procurement activities.
• Developing & implementing the Procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets.

• Review and update records to comply with ISO audit requirements.
• Ability to hard negotiate to align with optimal cost and timelines.

Role & responsibilities
