Job summary

Greytip Software Private Limited is implementing strict shop floor practices to ensure material hygiene, proper storage, and orderly production flow. The role focuses on maintaining clean, organized floors and timely execution of daily targets across shifts.

The incumbent must report delays promptly, coordinate with U-1 and HO teams, and conduct thorough shift handovers with up-to-date status information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene and proper storage of all materials on the shop floor.
• Ensure shift production plan is followed and targets are monitored.
• Report delays or absenteeism to the concerned authority.
• Coordinate with U-1 and HO teams for production and dispatch needs.
• Perform complete shift handovers with accurate status updates.

Job description

• All materials must be properly bagged, covered, and stored from time to time to prevent dust contamination and maintain hygiene standards.
• No material shall be left open or unattended on the shop floor.
• The entire shop floor must be kept clean, organized, and free from dust, waste, and unnecessary material accumulation at all times.
• Ensure all workers report to duty on time and are available at their designated workstations at the start of the shift.
• Any delay, absenteeism, or shortage of manpower must be immediately informed to the concerned reporting authority.
• The shift production plan must be followed strictly without deviation.
• Daily production targets, line schedules, and shift priorities should be monitored continuously to ensure timely execution.
• Material Accountability
• The Shift In-Charge / concerned supervisor shall be fully accountable for all material-related issues during the shift, including RM/PM/WIP and Finished Goods (FG).
• Proper tracking, handling, usage, reconciliation, and handover of materials must be ensured without discrepancy.
• System Knowledge & Record Updating
• The concerned person must have adequate system knowledge to update production, material movement, and shift-related records correctly in the system.
• All entries should be updated on time and without error.
• Coordination with U-1 & HO Team
• Ensure proper coordination and communication with the U-1 team and Head Office (HO) team for production, material, dispatch, and related operational requirements.
• Any issue requiring interdepartmental support must be escalated without delay.
• Shift Handover
• All pending issues, material status, production status, breakdowns, shortages, FG status, and important updates must be clearly communicated during handover to the next shift.
• Handover must be complete, accurate, and up to date so that no operational gap arises between shifts.
