Job summary

Zymo Cosmetics is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily production operations according to the production plan and schedule. You will oversee batch manufacturing, filling, packing, and shop-floor activities, and ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and equipment.

The role requires coordinating with Maintenance, QA/QC, Warehouse and other departments, monitoring targets, downtime, wastage, and quality issues; maintaining batch records and production reports;

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations as per production plan and schedule.
• Handle batch manufacturing, filling, packing, and shop-floor activities.
• Manage manpower allocation, shift supervision, and resource utilization.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and production equipment.
• Coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering for machine breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Warehouse, and other departments for smooth production operations.
• Monitor production targets, output, productivity, downtime, wastage, and rejection.
• Maintain batch records, production reports, checklists, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure documentation readiness.
• Conduct shift handovers and communicate production status, pending activities, breakdowns, and quality issues.
• Review previous shift handovers and follow up on pending activities.
• Report production progress, deviations, and operational issues to the reporting authority.
• Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, process performance, manpower utilization, and wastage reduction.
