Job summary

Freshtohome Foods Private Limited is hiring for a Production Planning & Control role in Navi Mumbai. The candidate will plan shift activities, allocate manpower, and ensure daily production targets are met while maintaining machine/process parameters and safety standards.

You will monitor quality, downtime, and reporting, drive continuous improvement, and lead operators and technicians with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have hands-on experience in production planning and control.
• Experience in managing operators/workers and shift attendance is desirable.
• Ability to monitor OEE, productivity, downtime and target achievement.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan shift activities and achieve daily production targets.
• Manpower allocation and shift attendance management.
• Understand production machines, processes, and operating parameters.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and minimize rework.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure proper PPE use.
• Identify and resolve production, machine, and process problems quickly.
• Motivate and coordinate operators and technicians.
• Clearly communicate shift requirements.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and workplace discipline.
• Monitor downtime and minimise production losses.
• Maintain shift production, rejection, downtime, and manpower reports.
• Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost reduction.
• Prioritise activities to meet production schedules.
• Use Excel and ERP for production reporting and data entry.
• Track KRA metrics such as OEE and target achievement.
