Job summary

Dentalkart is seeking an experienced Head of Design – UX/UI, App & Web (AI-Native) to lead the end-to-end product design for our web and mobile apps. This hands-on leadership role defines the design vision, builds scalable systems and drives conversion through thoughtful design powered by AI workflows.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Leadership to mentor the team and push innovation in a fast-paced dental marketplace.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI or Digital Product Design.
• Proven leadership of design teams shipping consumer-facing digital products.
• Strong portfolio showing UX thinking, premium UI design and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design strategy across web and mobile apps.
• Define a premium, scalable design language and design system.
• Design intuitive user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Improve key journeys including Search, PDP, Cart, Checkout and Onboarding.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Leadership teams.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze behavior to improve product experience.
• Mentor and lead the design team while maintaining high design quality.
• Utilize AI-powered design tools to improve exploration, prototyping and productivity.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for defining the design vision, building scalable design systems, improving user experience, driving conversion through design, and leveraging AI-powered design workflows to accelerate innovation.

• Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design strategy across web and mobile applications.
• Define and maintain a premium, scalable design language and design system.
• Design intuitive user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Improve key customer journeys including Search, Product Detail Pages (PDP), Cart, Checkout, and Onboarding.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze customer behavior to improve product experience.
• Mentor and lead the design team while maintaining high design quality standards.
• Utilize AI-powered design tools to improve design exploration, prototyping, and productivity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or Digital Product Design.
• Proven experience leading design teams and shipping consumer-facing digital products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking, premium UI design, and design systems.
• Expertise in Figma, Design Systems, Prototyping, and Interaction Design.
• Experience designing for both Mobile Apps and Responsive Web platforms.
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and customer-centered design principles.
• Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered design tools to improve workflows and productivity.
