Job summary

Dentalkart is seeking an experienced Head of Design – UX/UI, App & Web (AI-Native) to lead the design function for its web and mobile applications. This hands-on leadership role shapes the design vision, builds scalable design systems, and drives user-centred transformation with AI-powered workflows.

You will mentor the design team, collaborate with product and engineering, and focus on enhancing key customer journeys while delivering premium, accessible interfaces across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Product/UX/UI design or digital product design.
• Led design teams and shipped consumer-facing products.
• Strong portfolio in premium UI and design systems.
• Expert in Figma, design systems, prototyping, and interaction design.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX/UI design strategy across web and mobile.
• Define and maintain a premium design language and system.
• Design user journeys, IA, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Improve journeys like Search, PDP, Cart, Checkout and Onboarding.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Design – UX/UI, App & Web (AI-Native) to lead the end-to-end product design function for DentalKarts web and mobile applications. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for defining the design vision, building scalable design systems, improving user experience, driving conversion through design, and leveraging AI-powered design workflows to accelerate innovation.

• Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design strategy across web and mobile applications.
  
• Define and maintain a premium, scalable design language and design system.
  
• Design intuitive user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
  
• Improve key customer journeys including Search, Product Detail Pages (PDP), Cart, Checkout, and Onboarding.
  
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
  
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze customer behavior to improve product experience.
  
• Mentor and lead the design team while maintaining high design quality standards.
  
• Utilize AI-powered design tools to improve design exploration, prototyping, and productivity.
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or Digital Product Design.
  
• Proven experience leading design teams and shipping consumer-facing digital products.
  
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking, premium UI design, and design systems.
  
• Expertise in Figma, Design Systems, Prototyping, and Interaction Design.
  
• Experience designing for both Mobile Apps and Responsive Web platforms.
  
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and customer-centered design principles.
  
• Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered design tools to improve workflows and productivity.
