Job summary

Seven N Half is seeking a Lead – UX/UI Design in Mumbai to drive the design vision for a high-growth D2C digital business. The role requires 10–14 years of experience in UX/UI and leading complex customer journeys across web, mobile, WhatsApp and AI-powered channels.

You will own end-to-end journeys, lead AI-based interaction design, and work with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Data, Marketing and Sales to translate business objectives into high-conversion experiences.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of UX/UI, product or digital experience required.
• Experience leading complex digital customer journeys in consumer digital businesses.
• Strong AI-powered experience and conversational interfaces.
• Hands-on Web & Mobile UX, Design Systems, Interaction and Visual Design.
• Deep understanding of user research, usability testing and analytics.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and mentor designers.
• Experience with conversion funnels and experimentation metrics.

Hiring: Lead UX/UI Design | Mumbai

We are looking for an experienced Lead – UX/UI Design to drive the design vision for a high-growth Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) digital business.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a UX/UI professional who can build AI-first, customer-centric digital experiences across web, mobile, WhatsApp and conversational AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the UX/UI vision and experience strategy across web, mobile, WhatsApp, conversational AI and emerging digital channels.
• Own end-to-end customer journeys covering product discovery, comparison, quote generation, proposal submission, payment, onboarding, servicing, renewals and retention.
• Lead AI-first experience design, including intelligent assistance, recommendation engines, guided-selling journeys and AI-powered customer interactions.
• Design conversational experiences across WhatsApp, chatbots and AI conversational channels.
• Drive conversion optimisation, customer engagement and reduction of journey abandonment through data-driven design.
• Build and govern scalable enterprise design systems, including visual language, interaction standards, accessibility and reusable components.
• Lead user research, usability testing, journey mapping, behavioural analytics, A/B testing and experimentation.
• Work closely with Product, Technology, Data, Marketing, Sales, Operations and senior leadership teams.
• Translate business objectives into intuitive, trustworthy and high-conversion digital experiences.

What We’re Looking For

• 10–14 years of experience in UX/UI, Product Design, Service Design or Digital Experience.
• Experience leading complex digital customer journeys in Financial Services, FinTech, InsurTech, Insurance, Healthcare, E-commerce, Travel Tech or other consumer digital businesses.
• Strong experience in AI-powered experiences and conversational interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with Web & Mobile UX, Design Systems, Interaction Design and Visual Design.
• Strong understanding of customer research, usability testing, customer segmentation and behavioural analytics.
• Experience with conversion funnels, A/B testing, experimentation and customer engagement metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence Product, Technology, Business and Marketing teams.
• Experience in leading and mentoring UX/UI design teams.

Good to Have

• Experience in D2C / B2C digital businesses
• Insurance / FinTech / InsurTech / Healthcare domain experience
• Experience with WhatsApp, chatbots and AI assistants
• Experience with P&L / commercial ownership in a high-growth D2C setup
• Strong understanding of responsible AI, privacy, transparency and regulatory considerations
