Job summary

Prince Pipes & Fittings is hiring for TSE/TSM - Retail Sales/Channel Sales in Kannur and Thiruvananthapuram. The role focuses on managing distribution, driving channel sales, and expanding market presence through targeted promotions and dealer meets.

Responsibilities

• To manage distribution and channel sales for the assigned territory.
• To perform market research and map markets to identify growth opportunities.
• To maintain and analyse retail data and visit outlets regularly.
• To plan and execute sales targets and improve distribution depth and breadth.
• To develop secondary sales and coordinate with distributors for retail support.
• To follow up with distributors for timely payments and debtor management.
• To increase brand awareness through in-shop meets and dealer-distributor meets

Key Responsibility:

• 1) Hands on experience in managing distribution & channel sales
• 2). Knowledge of market research & market mapping
• 3) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel

Sales planning & execution

1. To achieve the sales target (category wise) of the assigned territory & implement plans/corrective actions to achieve targets.
2. To increase the depth & breadth of distribution by effective implementation of RREP 1 & RREP 2 targets.
3. To maintain the retail data base & conduct daily visits to the retail counters.

Sales & market development:

1. To develop the secondary sales market & meeting the retailers on daily basis.
2. To achieve the secondary sales target of the assigned territory & implement plans/corrective actions to achieve targets.
3. To work jointly with the distributors sales person to ensure appropriate retail support.

Debtor management:

1. To follow-up with channel finance team for opening and approval for account for new & existing dealers/distributor.
2. To coordinate/follow up with the distributor for timely payment.

Brand positioning/Market Mapping:

1. To increase brand awareness of products by executing branding & sales promotion activities like In shop Meets, Dealer - Distributor Meets.
