Job summary

TravelBoots is seeking a Travel Sales Consultant for our Gurugram office. You will convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by understanding traveler needs, building tailored packages, and closing deals, while staying with the client throughout the journey.

You will handle inbound inquiries, quote and itinerary creation, and maintain up-to-date CRM records. Fluency in English and Hindi, plus comfort with targets and cost considerations, are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years in travel sales (agency or operator).
• Strong communication in English and Hindi, spoken and written.
• Experience preparing itineraries and quotes, and closing sales.
• Comfortable with targets, follow-up discipline, and objection handling.
• Good with numbers and costing; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound leads via calls and WhatsApp; understand budget, dates, group type and preferences.
• Recommend destinations and build customised packages across domestic and international locations.
• Prepare quotes and detailed itineraries, negotiate, and close bookings against monthly targets.
• Maintain destination knowledge — routes, seasons, visa basics, hotels, must-do experiences.
• Support the traveler before, during and after the trip; resolve issues quickly.
• Keep leads, quotes and bookings accurate and updated in the CRM.
• Collect feedback and reviews post-trip.

The role

As a Travel Consultant focused on sales, you'll convert enquiries into confirmed bookings — understanding what the traveler wants, building the right package, closing the deal, and staying with them through the trip.

What you'll do

• Handle inbound leads via calls and WhatsApp; understand budget, dates, group type and preferences
• Recommend destinations and build customised packages across domestic (Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal, Kerala, Goa, Andaman) and international (Southeast Asia, Dubai, Europe) destinations
• Prepare quotes and detailed itineraries, negotiate, and close bookings against monthly targets
• Maintain destination knowledge — routes, seasons, visa basics, hotels, must-do experiences
• Support the traveler before, during and after the trip; resolve issues quickly
• Keep leads, quotes and bookings accurate and updated in the CRM
• Collect feedback and reviews post-trip

What we're looking for

• 6 months to 2 years in travel sales, a travel agency, or a tour operator
• Working knowledge of domestic and international destinations
• Experience preparing itineraries and quotes, and closing sales — not just servicing
• Strong communication in English and Hindi, spoken and written
• Comfortable with targets, follow-up discipline, and objection handling
• Good with numbers and costing; attention to detail

Good to have

• CRM or itinerary-builder tool experience
• Graduate in any stream (tourism/hospitality preferred)
