Job summary

The Souled Store is seeking a dynamic Retail Trainer to empower store teams across Mumbai and beyond. You will deliver hands-on training, reinforce customer service standards, and drive knowledge of products, SOPs, and upselling techniques to boost store performance.

You will partner with Store Managers and Training Leads to roll out curricula, monitor outcomes, and provide actionable coaching. A hands-on, energetic approach and ability to travel will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in retail training, store operations, or customer experience roles.
• Retail knowledge: Deep understanding of store-level sales, service, and retail SOPs.
• Training skills: Strong ability to present, demonstrate, coach, and lead in both 1-on-1 and group settings.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility: Willing to travel extensively across your region to visit stores.
• Mindset: Energetic, hands-on, people-first attitude.
• Language: Proficiency in English and local languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a dynamic Retail Trainer to join our growing retail training team. This role is

crucial in ensuring that store teams are equipped with the right skills, knowledge, and attitude

The Retail Trainer will work closely with Store Managers, Store-Level Training Champions, and

the Training Lead to deliver, reinforce, and track training outcomes in their assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Delivery
  • Conduct regular classroom, online and on-the-floor training sessions across assigned stores
  • Deliver training on customer service, product knowledge, upselling techniques, visual merchandising, and SOPs.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Lead role-plays, simulations, and refresher workshops to enhance learning retention.
• Monitoring & Feedback
  • Track training completion and performance metrics like NPS, conversion rates, and training
  • Observe and coach staff during real-time customer interactions and provide actionable feedback.
  • Identify training needs or performance gaps and propose customized interventions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with Store Managers to align on store goals and improvement areas.
  • Support Store-Level Training Champions in executing daily/weekly learning routines.
  • Provide inputs to the Retail Training Lead to help enhance the training curriculum.
• Brand Culture & Engagement
  • Act as a brand ambassador and instill The Souled Store's values in store teams.
  • Keep employees engaged and motivated through energized, positive coaching.

Key Qualifications & Skills:
