Medical Coder Trainer – Job Description (JD)

Qualification:

• Certificate/Diploma in Medical Coding, Medical Records, Health Information Management, or Medical Documentation
  
• Basic understanding of hospital workflows and EMR/EHR systems
  
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
  

Preferred Qualification (Not Compulsory):

• BMRS, HIM, B.Pharm, Paramedical Sciences
  
• Diploma in Medical Coding & Billing
  
• CPC, CCA, CCS, ICD-10-CM, CPT, or HCPCS certifications
  

Experience:

1–2 years in hospital front office, medical records, patient registration, billing, EMR/EHR systems, or diagnostic/lab centres
