Job summary

IPEX by Aliaxis is seeking a Warehouse/Stores Associate in Hyderabad to manage receiving, storage, and issuing of spares and consumables. You will ensure accurate records, maintain stock levels, and coordinate with Maintenance, Production and Purchase teams.

The role emphasizes 5S, safety compliance and adherence to SOPs while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives in General Stores.

Qualifications

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems for material and inventory processes.
• Knowledge of engineering spares, consumables, tools and packaging material specifications.
• Strong documentation and accurate record-keeping skills.
• Good communication for coordination with Maintenance, Production and Purchase teams.
• Awareness of safety, quality and compliance standards in stores operations.
• Inventory-control skills including ABC analysis, stock-rotation methods and reorder-level management.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, team-building and decision-making abilities.
• Commercial awareness to understand stock cost, consumption patterns and procurement impact.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload engineering spares, consumables, tools, equipment and packaging materials as per SOPs.
• Verify received materials against delivery documents and hand them over to the Billing/Invoice team for GRN processing.
• Update physical stock registers and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Store and organize materials based on type, criticality, usage frequency and shelf-life considerations.
• Ensure proper binning, labeling and traceability of all materials in General Stores.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Production teams for timely issuance of spares and consumables.
• Monitor stock levels through Mini–Max, reorder level, ABC analysis and control of non-moving/slow-moving items.
• Maintain adequate stock of consumables and critical spares to avoid downtime.
• Ensure proper storage of hazardous materials, lubricants and consumables as per safety standards.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping and storage discipline in the General Stores area.
• Follow all operations as per approved SOPs, OCPs and internal procedures.
• Prepare and update OCPs related to General Stores and ensure implementation.
• Provide awareness on Quality, Safety and Environmental procedures to support compliance.
• Store various types of waste or used items (filters, rags, scrap) in designated color-coded bins as per environmental norms.
• Maintain documentation such as Material Issue Slips, Indents, Stock Registers and Daily Consumption Reports.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring all required records are accurate and available.
• Conduct monthly and annual physical stock counts and support reconciliation activities.
• Address discrepancies identified during audits or stock checks and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Maintenance, Production and Invoice teams for material flow and documentation.
• Use SAP‑MM to monitor stock overview, reservations, issue postings and material movement.
• Ensure timely issue posting for all spares and consumables supplied to departments.
• Follow safety, quality and compliance norms in all General Stores operations.
• Support warehouse efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
