Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a Trainee - QC to join the Quality Control team. The role involves testing in-process, intermediates and finished products using wet analysis and SAP-related activities, with strict adherence to cGMP and factory safety rules.

You will assist the microbiologist with water sampling, verify FPCs, and maintain contemporaneous documentation in log books, inward registers, and testing protocols. A MSc Chemistry and 0–1 year lab QC experience are required.

Qualifications

• MSc Chemistry qualification
• 0–1 year experience in a Lab QC role.

Responsibilities

• Testing of In process, Intermediates and Finished products by wet analysis.
• Strict adherence to cGMP norms and safety rules of the factory.
• Daily verification activities for analytical balances and KF titrator as per procedures.
• Assisting the Microbiologist for water sampling activities.
• Testing of Intermediates & Finished products with respect to wet analysis.
• Receiving and verifying FPCs from production blocks and inwarding.
• Ensuring cleanliness of samplers as per requirement.
• Coordinating with QA for receipt of analytical testing protocol.
• Maintaining contemporaneous documentation in log books/records.
• Preparing control samples and relevant documentation.

Job Description

• Responsible for testing of In process, Intermediates and Finished products with respect to wet analysis as received on daily basis and SAP related activities.
• Strict adherence to cGMP norms and safety rules of the factory.
• Performance of daily verification activities for analytical / precision balances and KF titrator as per the defined procedure.
• Assisting the Microbiologist for water sampling activities.
• Testing of Intermediates & Finished products with respect to wet analysis.
• Receiving the FPCs of Intermediates & Finished products from all the production blocks, verification of FPC for its correctness and inwarding.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of Intermediate & Finished product samplers as per the requirement.
• Testing of Intermediates & Finished products with respect to wet analysis.
• Coordinating with QA for receipt of analytical testing protocol as and when required.
• Ensuring the contemporaneous documentation for the activities being done in IM/FP section in the corresponding log books / inward registers / check lists / analytical testing protocols / raw data sheets.
• Preparing the control samples of all the despatchable stage products and its relevant documentation.
