Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune, India, seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in FE analysis of gearbox components. The role focuses on thermal, static and dynamic simulations, fatigue life assessments, and validation planning.

You will generate FE models in ANSYS, conduct bearing and gear calculations with KissSOFT/KissSYS, and coordinate external calculations, delivering rigorous calculation reports and contributing to product reliability.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies (university / technical college) in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive manufacturing
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar field
• Strong knowledge of engine systems

Responsibilities

• Technical calculation of components and assemblies of spitter gearboxes.
• Performing thermal, static and dynamic, linear and nonlinear FEM calculations.
• Component optimization in terms of weight, stiffness, resistance and fatigue life.
• Generating FE calculation models using commercial FEM software (ANSYS)
• Fatigue life assessment of components using commercial software (FEMFAT)
• Organization and monitoring of externally performed calculations.
• Determination of experimental validation procedures, assess the obtained results and correlate the simulation models.
• Results evaluation and preparation of calculation reports.
• Perform 1D torsional vibration analyses.
• Performing bearing calculations and gear calculations (KissSOFT/KissSYS )
• Perform Gearbox lubrication analysis (ENGINESOFT)
