Job summary

Consulting Engineers Group (CEG) seeks a Traffic & Safety Engineer for Highway Maintenance with 5+ years of experience. The role focuses on monitoring traffic management and road safety at site, reviewing TM Plans, and ensuring compliance with IRC/MoRTH standards.

The candidate should hold a Civil Engineering degree or diploma and have experience in highway projects, maintenance, traffic management, and work-zone safety to lead safety inspections and coordinate with contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with highway project experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with traffic management and road safety requirements at site.
• Review and implement Traffic Management Plans, work-zone safety measures, signage, barricading, and diversions.
• Conduct regular safety/traffic inspections and identify potential hazards and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the Contractor and Client for safe traffic movement during maintenance and construction activities.
• Maintain records of traffic safety inspections, incidents, and corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IRC/MoRTH specifications and applicable safety standards.
