Job summary

Consulting Engineers Group (CEG) seeks a Road Safety Specialist to oversee highway safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with guidelines. The role involves coordinating with NHIPMPL and authorities to keep corridors safe.

You will analyse accident data, improve emergency response systems, and ensure proper signage, barriers, and diversions during maintenance. A B.Tech in Civil with 5 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular highway inspections to identify safety hazards and compliance gaps.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the highway corridor to identify safety hazards, black spots, and compliance gaps according to highway authority guidelines.


• Oversee emergency response systems, analyze accident data, and implement corrective measures to prevent repeat incidents.


• Ensure proper safety signage, barricades, and traffic diversion protocols are strictly followed during routine and major maintenance work.


• Maintain detailed logs of safety incidents, prepare audit reports, and coordinate closely with the client (NHIPMPL) and authorities.
