Job summary

Sbicap Securities is seeking a Post-Trade Operations Analyst to manage back-office activities for commodity trades. The role includes booking, allocation, MTM monitoring, and maintaining audit-ready records in line with regulatory guidelines.

You will coordinate with exchanges, handle daily EOD logs, and perform reconciliations across ledgers and settlement accounts. Night shifts may be required for operations coverage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-trade operations for commodity trades executed by clients.
• Ensure accurate allocation, matching and booking of client orders across commodity contracts.
• Monitor real-time margin requirements, collateral blockages, and MTM calculations.
• Maintain audit-ready transactional records and data ledgers for the commodity segment in regulatory compliance.
• Generate and submit daily compliance files, EOD trade logs, and margin status reports to exchanges.
• Perform daily multi-way reconciliations between ledgers, clearing files, bank accounts and depository balances.
• Serve as liaison for national commodity exchanges and clearing corporations.
• Manage exchange queries and delivery/logistics updates and settlement cycles.
• Lead setup, configuration and integration of trading and back-office software.
• Design and document UAT for software upgrades and patches.

Job description

• Oversee and handle all post-trade operations related to commodity trades executed by clients.
• Ensure accurate allocation, matching, and booking of client orders across various commodity contracts.
• Monitor real-time margin requirements, collateral blockages, and mark-to-market (MTM) calculations.
• Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready transactional records and data ledgers for the entire commodity segment in strict compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Generate and submit daily compliance files, end-of-day (EOD) trade logs, and margin status reports to respective commodity exchanges.
• Perform mandatory daily multi-way reconciliations between internal back-office ledgers, exchange clearing files, bank settlement accounts, and depository balances.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and corporate liaison for national commodity exchanges and clearing corporations.
• Proactively manage exchange queries, updates regarding physical delivery logic, circular interpretations, and operational settlement cycles.
• Lead the operational setup, parameters configuration, and technological integration of commodity trading and back-office settlement software.
• Design, execute, and document User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for exchange software upgrades, terminal updates, and custom internal automation patches.
