Job summary

LKP Securities in Mumbai is seeking an experienced trading professional to execute commodity trades across MCX and NCDEX and manage client interactions. You will monitor markets, provide timely updates, and ensure accurate trade confirmations and settlements.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with knowledge of derivatives and compliance. MBA/PG candidates are preferred for this fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commodity/equity broking or dealing.
• Knowledge of MCX/NCDEX and commodity derivatives.
• NISM Series XVI Commodity Derivatives certification preferred/mandatory where required.

Responsibilities

• Execute commodity trades across MCX/NCDEX accurately and efficiently.
• Handle client calls, order placement, confirmations, and queries.
• Monitor commodity markets, price movements and market news.
• Track client positions, margins, MTM and exposure.
• Provide timely market updates and trading information to clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships and reactivate inactive clients.
• Coordinate with Research, RMS and Operations for smooth trade execution.
• Maintain daily dealing records, MIS and transaction reports.
• Ensure adherence to SEBI, exchange and company compliance guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PG preferred.
• 2 - 7 years of experience in Commodity/Equity Broking or Dealing.
• Strong knowledge of MCX/NCDEX and commodity derivatives.
• Knowledge of Gold, Silver, Crude Oil, Natural Gas and Base Metals.
• Good communication, analytical and client-handling skills.
• NISM Series XVI Commodity Derivatives certification preferred/mandatory as per role requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
