Job summary

Sbicap Securities in Mumbai seeks a post-trade operations specialist to manage commodity trades. You will oversee allocation, matching, and booking across contracts, and monitor real-time margins and MTM calculations.

You will maintain audit-ready records, generate daily compliance files and EOD logs, and perform multi-way reconciliations across ledgers, exchanges, banks, and depositories. You will liaise with exchanges and clearing corporations to ensure smooth settlement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and handle all post-trade operations related to commodity trades executed by clients.
• Ensure accurate allocation, matching, and booking of client orders across various commodity contracts.
• Monitor real-time margin requirements, collateral blockages, and mark-to-market (MTM) calculations.
• Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready transactional records and data ledgers for the entire commodity segment in strict compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Generate and submit daily compliance files, end-of-day (EOD) trade logs, and margin status reports to respective commodity exchanges.
• Perform mandatory daily multi-way reconciliations between internal back-office ledgers, exchange clearing files, bank settlement accounts, and depository balances.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and corporate liaison for national commodity exchanges and clearing corporations.
• Proactively manage exchange queries, updates regarding physical delivery logic, circular interpretations, and operational settlement cycles.
