Job summary

Veoneer Safety Systems is seeking a Tools Development Engineer in Bangalore with 3-5 years of software development experience. You will design and maintain desktop engineering tools using C#, .NET, and WPF, applying MVVM patterns to deliver scalable, maintainable applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement unit tests and GUI automation, and support CI/CD pipelines and releases. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development experience, preferably in engineering tools or desktop applications.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET with OOP fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building desktop apps using WPF and MVVM.
• Knowledge of MVVM data binding, commands and UI design patterns.
• Experience with unit/integration testing and automation concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Proficient in source control tools such as Git, GitLab, CodeBeamer.
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.

What you'll bring?

• 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in engineering tools, automation, or technical environments.

• Good understanding of MVVM architecture, data binding, commands, and UI design patterns.

• Experience with software design principles, clean coding practices, and maintainable application development.
