Job summary

Visteon Corporation in Goa, India, is seeking a mechanical design leader to drive programs delivering automotive electronics and electro-mechanical products. You will ensure on-cost, on-time, on-quality delivery while mentoring a diverse engineering team.

You will collaborate with global stakeholders, oversee design quality, verification, and validation methods, and apply CATIA V5 and GD&T to develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings. Experience in CAE and testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in Automotive or Electro-mechanical products domain – Electronics product design, Thermal Management, EMC interface design
• Experience in Plastic, Sheet metal, Diecast, Sealing components design
• Strong experience in ensuring the design quality, verification, Validation methods.
• Design tools – CATIA V5 (Preferred). Expertise in 3D CAD, 2D drawings preparation
• Strong experience in GD&T application, Tolerance studies, DFMEA
• Exposure to CAE and testing domains.
• Experience in Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous Improvement
• Exposure to Global Culture/Customer is an added advantage.

Manage and drive the programs to deliver mechanical designs for Visteon products, on-cost, on-time, on-quality.
