Job summary

BVR People Consulting in Bengaluru is seeking a skilled maintenance technician specialized in plastic injection moulds to perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, ensuring high uptime and quality.

You will troubleshoot mould issues, assemble and repair tooling components, and participate in new mould trials and tooling development, driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastic manufacturing/injection moulding.
• Kannada language proficiency mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of injection moulds.
• Troubleshoot mould issues and minimize production downtime.
• Assemble, repair, inspect, and maintain moulds and tooling components.
• Execute preventive maintenance and support mould validation activities.
• Participate in new mould trials, tooling development, and mould duplication.
• Improve mould performance through modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain mould history, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and external vendors for tooling activities.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and GMP practices.
• Ensure workplace safety, operational excellence, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
