Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited invites an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead end-to-end testing and delivery of 220 kV GIS/AIS substations. You will drive daily/monthly testing plans, capacity and manpower planning, NABL audits, and customer inspections.

Role requires BE in Electrical Engineering with 10–12 years of hands-on testing experience, proficiency in Excel, and strong standards knowledge, ensuring quality and on-time project success.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer with BE degree and 10–12 years of experience.
• Hands-on testing experience of instrument transformers and bushings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data handling.
• Strong knowledge of international and Indian standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects.
• Plan daily and monthly testing at all testing stations.
• Do capacity planning for testing stations as per orders.
• Manage daily manpower planning for testing activities.
• Oversee NABL activities and audit planning.
• Coordinate customer inspections with the execution team.
• Prepare and submit routine test reports to customers.
• Maintain QMS & EHS documentation.
• Ensure 5S and EHS at all testing stations.
• Plan preventive maintenance and calibration of instruments.
• Explore automation and digitalization for productivity improvements.

Job description

Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on-time delivery in compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact

• You’ll be leading a team of 8-10 working technicians & engineers and will handle all Customer and Factory related testing activities.
• You’ll be responsible for Daily and Monthly testing planning at all the testing stations as per monthly TO plan.
• You will be doing Capacity planning for testing stations as per the orders.
• You will be responsible for Daily manpower planning for testing activities.
• You will be responsible for NABL activities and audit planning.
• You will be responsible for Customer inspection planning with execution team.
• You will be responsible for Routine test reports preparation and submit to the customers.
• You will be doing all QMS & EHS related documentation.
• You will be Handling EHS & 5S on all the testing stations.
• You will be doing Regular preventive maintenance and calibration planning of all the instruments.
• You will Explore the automation and digitalization projects for improvement in productivity of testing

What You Bring

• You are an Electrical Engineer (BE with 10-12 years of work experience.
• You have hands-on experience in Testing of instrument Transformers and Bushings.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and well versed.
• You've sound technical knowledge and in depth understanding of international and Indian standards.
