Job summary

Siemens Energy India is seeking an experienced engineer to lead end-to-end 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects. You will ensure safe, profitable, on-time delivery while meeting quality, contractual and EHS requirements.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of AIS/GIS configurations, PV maintenance planning, and hands-on experience with 400/220/132 kV equipment, SCADA, and relays. On-site leadership and contractor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; 5+ years of Testing & Commissioning/Maintenance of EHV Substations equipment
• At least 2 years in a responsible maintenance position on plants/site operations

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable, on-time delivery and compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.
• On-site planning and execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance for 400/220/132 kV assets including transformers, breakers, CT/PT, control panels, relays, SCADA and battery systems.
• Manage site manpower and contractor manpower, meet customer KPIs, and ensure adherence to EHS guidelines and safety standards.

Job description

Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on-time delivery in compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact

1. Very good technical know-how on AIS/GIS substation configurations.

2. Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & Power Points

4. Candidate should have sound knowledge in the substation operation and maintenance activities, Customer handling, electrical trouble shooting.

5. Also should be well capable to handle the site manpower, contractor manpower, meeting customer KPI's and fulfil customer requirements.

6. Should strictly adhere to EHS guidelines. Also should be well aware about the recent industry standards rules of safety, PTW, LOTO process, etc. and expert in preparing of EHS documents.

7. On site Planning and execution of Periodic Preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance with trouble shooting capabilities of 400/220/132kV Power Transformer, Breaker, CT, PT, Control panel, Relays, ACDB, SCADA, Battery with Battery charger.

What You Bring

1. Candidate with bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical), Min. 5 years of experience in field of Testing& Commissioning/Maintenance of EHV Substations equipment’s

2. With at least 2 years of experience in responsible position on maintenance plant required.
