Job summary

AQM Technologies in Mumbai seeks an experienced Test Manager with 15+ years in the BFSI domain to lead end-to-end testing across Core Banking platforms, including Finacle, TCS BaNCS, or Finastra. You will drive test strategy, planning, and execution while mentoring QA teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on testing, strong leadership, and collateral knowledge of banking payment systems, STLC/SDLC, and release management. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Software Testing, Test Management, and Project Delivery within the BFSI domain.
• Strong expertise in Core Banking and hands-on testing, including domain knowledge of Core Banking products and Banking Payment Systems.
• Experience leading and managing QA teams across multiple projects.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools like JIRA, HP ALM, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect Management, and Release Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Test Management activities, including Test Strategy, Planning, Execution, Defect Management, and Test Reporting.
• Manage testing and project delivery for Core Banking implementation, migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
• Lead, mentor, and manage QA teams, allocate resources, monitor team performance, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Coordinate with Business, Development, Infrastructure, Client, and Vendor teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Review business requirements, prepare test plans, monitor project progress, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
• Oversee Functional, System Integration (SIT), Regression, UAT, and Production Validation testing.
• Drive defect triage meetings and ensure timely defect resolution.
• Provide regular project status updates, testing metrics, and delivery reports to senior stakeholders.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Banking, hands-on software testing experience, and proven experience in managing end-to-end testing, project delivery, and QA teams. • CASA (Current Account & Savings Account)
• Term Deposits
• Good understanding of Banking Payment Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Finacle, TCS BaNCS, or Finastra.
• Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect Management, and Release Management.
• Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Core Banking transformation, migration, or digital modernization projects.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, ISTQB, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.
