Qualifications

• 10+ years of software testing/QA experience.
• Strong Finacle 11X Core Banking Testing experience.
• Experience in SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of STLC and SDLC processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete testing lifecycle for Finacle 11X and Core Banking projects.

Job Role: Test Manager – Finacle 11X & Core Banking

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager – Finacle 11X & Core Banking to lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for Core Banking transformation and implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Finacle 11X, Core Banking Testing, test management, stakeholder management, and leading testing teams in complex banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete Testing Lifecycle for Finacle 11X and Core Banking projects.
• Define the overall Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Approach, and Testing Roadmap.
• Manage and coordinate Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Development Teams, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders.
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to ensure complete test coverage.
• Prepare, review, and approve Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Execution Reports.
• Lead and mentor testing teams and ensure timely project delivery.
• Track defects, perform defect analysis, and coordinate with technical teams for timely resolution.
• Monitor testing progress and provide regular Status Reports, Metrics, Dashboards, and Management Updates.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and testing challenges and provide appropriate mitigation plans.
• Ensure quality standards and testing best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage stakeholder communication and participate in project governance meetings.
• Support production validation, post-implementation testing, and issue resolution when required.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in Finacle 11X Core Banking Testing.
• Extensive experience in Core Banking Functional Testing.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in managing SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Strong experience in preparing Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, and Test Metrics.
• Hands-on experience in Defect Management and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams.
• Strong understanding of banking processes and Core Banking functionalities.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including Business, Development, and Client Teams.
• Excellent Communication, Leadership, Team Management, and Stakeholder Management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Finacle Core Banking Implementation, Upgrade, Migration, or Transformation Projects.
• Exposure to Banking modules such as CASA, Loans, Deposits, Payments, Trade Finance, Treasury, and Customer Management.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar tools.
• Experience in Automation Testing will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
