Quality Assurance Test Lead- Banking Application

Advises, analyzes and supports banking clients in Test Management, Test planning, Test Strategy, Test Reporting for banking applications that will include setting testing standards & industry best practices, defect management, test automation, system integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, non-functional testing etc for banking applications thereby acting as a gate keeper, ensuring quality defect free application with adequate test coverage is achieved for production releases.

Key Responsibilities

• 15 to 20 years Test Management experience in banking / financial applications and services.
• Experience in working in large banking implementations programmes for banks.
• Experience in working with ISV package applications.
• Should have a good knowledge of key banking applications like Core Banking, Lending, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Payments, CRM, etc.
• Good technical acumen & working knowledge of Agile Methods, Test Methodologies, Test Automation, Testing tools, APIs.
• Strong ability to influence, collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Should have experience of independently managing large testing teams / application vendor teams with a minimum team size of 40 resources.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Conduct daily test management, defect triage calls and accurate reporting to senior management
• Participate in governance discussions and provide key inputs by calling out key dependencies, issues, risks etc that impact progress.
• Experience in working and collaborating with banking application vendors.
• Work closely with the business team to analyse business requirements, organise design reviews, test execution, traceability, test coverage and support.
• Experience in Test Automation framework, identifying automation scope for regression tests and reduce manual testing efforts
• Past experience in assisting stakeholders in quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies.
