Job summary

TopGear Consultants Pvt Ltd. seeks a QA professional to act as a gatekeeper for high-quality, secure applications. You will execute automated testing and integrate test automation into the CICD DevOps pipeline.

The role requires 2–7 years of QA experience, preferably in Banking and Financial Services, with strong testing strategy and non-functional requirements expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–7 years of QA experience in web-based/services apps, BFSI preferred.
• Experience building and executing testing strategies across functionality, performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering, Product, and QA leads for test strategy and execution.
• Understand QoS parameters including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Capture traceability between business requirements, specs, code artifacts, test scenarios, and tests.
• Present quality metrics and propose strategies to identify and reduce bugs.
• Perform end-to-end testing: integration, system, regression, automation, performance, security, and stress testing.
• Document testing results and benchmarks; manage test scripts and results metadata.
• Create and execute test plans; identify, isolate, and track bugs.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Integrate test automation into the DevOps/CICD pipeline.

Job description

Job Purpose:

Act as a gatekeeper to deploy applications with high quality, performance, and security.

Execute automated testing for applications.

Implement test automation as part of the CICD/DevOps Pipeline.

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with Engineering, Product, and QA leads for test strategy & execution.

Understand Quality of Service parameters, including Functional and Non-Functional Requirements.

Capture traceability between Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Code Artifacts, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases.

Present Quality Metrics for projects and propose strategies to identify and reduce bugs.

Perform end-to-end testing through all cycles: Integration, System, Smoke, Regression, Automation, Performance, Security, and Stress Testing.

Document testing results and benchmarks.

Manage metadata for all Test Scripts and Test Results.

Create and execute test plans, identifying, isolating, and tracking bugs.

Maintain compliance with Bank regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Ensure automation of Test Cases and integration into DevOps/CICD pipeline.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related area.

Key Skills:

Testing Strategy, BFSI Domain, Non-Functional Requirements, Manual and Automation Testing, Team Management.

Knowledge of testing tools and Atlassian products for defect tracking.

Understanding of Modern Technology Stacks.

Ability to prioritize functionalities and bugs for quick rollouts.

Experience Required:

2 to 7 years experience performing QA for web-based/service-oriented applications, preferably in Banking and Financial Services Domain.

Experience in building and executing testing strategy covering functionality, regulations, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.

Major Stakeholders:

Internal: Engineering Leads, Product Owner, Business domain experts, IT audit, QA Team, DevOps Team, Audit, Compliance, Legal.

External: Partners, prospective suppliers.
