Job summary

Novature Tech is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 7–9 years of QA experience. The role emphasizes strong Selenium with Java, Web/UI and Mobile testing, and deep domain exposure to Core Banking, Payments, and Cards.

You will design and maintain automation scripts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across SDLC phases. Responsibilities include end-to-end testing, framework maintenance, defect tracking, and test planning in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of total QA/testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming experience in Java.
• Experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong domain experience in Core Banking / Payments / Cards.
• Experience in Web/UI Testing.
• Experience in Mobile Testing.
• Good understanding of Functional and Regression Testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG/JUnit.
• Good knowledge of SQL/Oracle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good defect tracking and test management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Work on applications related to Core Banking, Payments, and Cards.
• Perform Web/UI testing across different browsers and platforms.
• Execute and support Mobile application testing.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and other QA teams to resolve defects.
• Ensure proper test coverage and traceability throughout the SDLC.
