Job summary

Torrent Electricals Ltd is seeking a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to conceptualize and deploy territory strategies aimed at driving sales across B2B and B2C segments in the Wires and FMEG business. The successful candidate will be responsible for top and bottom-line delivery, market program implementation, and managing relationships with distributors and retailers. A bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of relevant sales experience are required for this role, which reports to the Area Manager - Sales.

Conceptualization and deployment of territory strategies aligned with region & country strategy, drive sales across B2B & B2C segments and achieve profitable growth in wires & FMEG business.

Individual with strong Product Knowledge, Customer Relationship Management, Problem solving skills, Powerful Negotiator, Resource Management, Sales Proficiency, ability to collaborate and mentor junior team members.

Overall

• Responsible for top and bottom-line delivery for assigned geography.
• Responsible for driving market programs and market shares.
• Appointing the Distributors and Stock points.
• Appointing the Sub Dealer and Retailers under the Distributors.
• Responsible for ensuring trade discipline, mix delivery and distribution metrics.
• Ensuring market discipline, coverage norms and administration.
• Build steadfast relationships with trade, influencers, contractors, channel partners ensuring market discipline, coverage norms and administration.
• Attending negotiations and closing orders.
• Responsible for territory's sales forecasting and tracking.
• Territory mapping and coverage of the region directly as well as through dealers.
• Train executives to upskill them for future TM role.

Experience and Qualification

• 05–10 years in Wires/FMEG Sales
• Bachelor's degree – any discipline
