SRI SAI LEELA ELECTRICAL PROJECTS is seeking a detail-oriented Tendering Executive with 1–3 years of tendering experience in electrical contracting. You will prepare cost estimates, source quotations, and assemble bids for government and private clients.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical product knowledge, proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to meet deadlines while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant tendering experience in Electrical Contracting or MEP.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and system specs.
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, BOQs, and specs.
• MS Excel, MS Word, and estimation software proficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tendering Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the electrical contracting industry and a strong understanding of electrical items, materials, and systems used in tendering and estimation. This role is critical to our business development process, ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Study tender documents, drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and technical specifications for electrical projects
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical items such as cables, switchgear, panels, DBs, transformers, lighting fixtures, conduits, and other MEP components
• Source and obtain competitive quotations from vendors and subcontractors
• Prepare comparative statements and finalize rates for tender submission
• Coordinate with the technical/engineering team to ensure compliance with tender specifications
• Prepare and compile tender documents, technical bids, and commercial proposals within stipulated deadlines
• Track tender notifications from government portals, private clients, and consultants
• Maintain a database of vendor rates, past tenders, and pricing trends for future reference
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors for tender clarifications and negotiations
• Ensure timely submission of tenders as per client requirements (online/offline)
• Assist in post-tender follow-ups, negotiations, and contract finalization

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in tendering within an Electrical Contracting or MEP company
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and system specifications
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and estimation software
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Familiarity with government e-tendering portals is an added advantage
