Job Description: Tendering Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tendering Executive with experience in electrical switchgear, panel manufacturing, or EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable tenders, preparing technical and commercial documentation, submitting bids through online tender portals, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and track relevant tenders through GeM, CPPP, government e-tendering portals, and customer/vendor portals.
• Upload and submit tenders accurately within the specified deadlines.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, SLDs, GA drawings, and commercial terms.
• Handle tenders related to HT/LT panels, PCC panels, MCC panels, APFC panels, distribution boards, feeder pillars, CRP, bus ducts, and other electrical works.
• Check tender eligibility criteria, pre-qualification requirements, EMD, tender fees, and statutory documentation.
• Prepare tender checklists and coordinate with internal teams to collect the required documents.
• Prepare technical compliance statements, deviation sheets, product datasheets, test certificates, and company credentials.
• Coordinate with design, production, quality, purchase, finance, and sales teams for tender-related inputs.
• Maintain tender records, submission trackers, deadlines, amendments, and clarification responses.
• Prepare and submit clarification queries to tender authorities whenever required.
• Maintain a database of submitted tenders, approved makes, ISO certificates, statutory registrations, and past project credentials.
• Ensure tender submissions comply with applicable IS/IEC standards, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
• Archive tender documents and maintain confidentiality of technical and commercial information.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Certification in project management or AutoCAD is preferred.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of government e-tendering portals, GeM, and CPPP.
• Experience in electrical switchgear or electrical panel manufacturing tenders.
• Understanding of BOQ, SLD, GA drawings, and compliance documentation.
• Good coordination, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in tendering for electrical switchgear, panel manufacturing, or EPC projects.
• Candidates with experience in government tenders and electrical panel-related documentation will be preferred.
