Job summary

Técnicas Reunidas is seeking a senior Telecom Design professional for Oil & Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical projects in Chennai. The role requires 10+ years of design experience and strong exposure to CCTV, PAGA, LAN/WAN, and other telecom systems.

Responsibilities include engineering, MTO, vendor reviews, telecom block diagrams, installation layouts, and standards compliance. International project experience and EPC workflow familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering with 10+ years of design experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical sectors.
• Strong knowledge of telecom systems and international standards (ANSI, IEC, DNVGL, ETSI).
• Able to work in EPC projects and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Basic and Detailed Engineering experience of Industrial telecom and Security Systems.
• Experience in preparation of Material Take off (MTO), offer evaluation, Technical Bid Evaluation Summary.
• Review of Vendor documents for all Telecom Systems such as CCTV, PAGA, Radio, ACS, Telephone, IDS, LAN/WAN, SCS, Fiber Optic System etc.
• Experience in preparation of Telecom System Block diagrams, Telecom Philosophy, System specification.
• Preparation of Telecom installation layout, cable route plans, location layout, termination drawings, Cable schedule, telecom building layout development and detailing.
• Coverage study reports ( CCTV, PAGA, Radio, WIFI Access Point, Traffic load Calculation etc)
• Familiar with EPC Engineering workflow and interface with other engineering disciplines.
• Experience of working with international clients such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco etc.
