Job summary

Tecnicas Reunidas in Chennai seeks Diploma in Engineering holders with 10+ years of design experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical sectors for basic and detailed engineering of industrial telecom and security systems.

You will review vendor documents, prepare MTOs, telecom diagrams and layouts, and ensure compliance with ANSI/IEC/DNVGL/ETSI standards while coordinating with EPC teams and international clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant design experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical sectors.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ANSI, IEC, DNVGL and ETSI.
• Candidates should be organized, self-motivated and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Basic and Detailed Engineering of Industrial telecom and Security Systems.
• Prepare Material Take Off (MTO), offer evaluation, and Technical Bid Evaluation Summaries.
• Review Vendor documents for Telecom Systems including CCTV, PAGA, Radio, ACS, Telephone, LAN/WAN and SCS.
• Prepare Telecom System block diagrams, philosophy, and system specifications.
• Create installation layouts, cable routes, location layouts, termination drawings and cable schedules.
• Generate coverage studies for CCTV, PAGA, Radio, WiFi and traffic loads.
• Coordinate with EPC workflow and other engineering disciplines; liaise with international clients such as ADNOC and Saudi Aramco.

Summary of the position:

Professionals with Diploma in Engineering and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant design experience in the industry sectors of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical and having good knowledge in the following activities

• Telecom Design experience in CCTV, PAGA, ACS, LAN/WAN, Radio System, Telephone, Structured Cabling Systems etc.
• Familiar with the ANSI, IEC, DNVGL, ETSI and other industry related standards.
• Shall be organized, motivated and team worker.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the role:

• Basic and Detailed Engineering experience of Industrial telecom and Security Systems.
• Experience in preparation of Material Take off (MTO), offer evaluation, Technical Bid Evaluation Summary
• Review of Vendor documents for all Telecom Systems such as CCTV, PAGA, Radio, ACS, Telephone, IDS, LAN/WAN, SCS, Fiber Optic System etc.
• Experience in preparation of Telecom System Block diagrams, Telecom Philosophy, System specification.
• Preparation of Telecom installation layout, cable route plans, location layout, termination drawings, Cable schedule, telecom building layout development and detailing etc.
• Coverage study reports ( CCTV, PAGA, Radio, WIFI Access Point, Traffic load Calculation etc)
• Familiar with EPC Engineering workflow and interface with other engineering disciplines.
• Experience of working with international clients such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco etc.
