Position: Lead Telecom Engineer
Experience Required: 5–10 years
Department: Control and instrumentation Dept
Software: Auto Cad, SP3D, Navisworks
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Telecom engineering design and execution activities.
- Oversee project planning, technical reviews, and compliance with standards.
- Telecom System Design (OSP & ISP) for OIL and GAS industries.
- IP based intercom system, CCTV/SECURITY (IP & Analog CCTV) system, PAGA (Public Address System) system, Access Control system and Fire Alarm system.
- Preparation of specification.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and communication/EEE/Instrumentation/Telecom Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5–10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of Telecom systems design, Calculations.
- Experience in handling large-scale projects. (MEP, onshore and offshore projects)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Preparation of Telecom system philosophy documents
- Design documents and engineering deliverables
- BDs, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings
- Telecom calculations and design standards
- Technical bid evaluation and vendor document review
- Interface coordination with other systems (DCS, F&G, etc.)
- Feed (Front End Engineering Design), DED (Detailed Engineering Design)
