Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a Telecom Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead engagements in telecom operations and asset management. You will assess maintenance processes, define transformation roadmaps, and guide digital maintenance initiatives across tower, fiber, and data center assets.

The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo or SAP PM/FSM, strong telecom asset knowledge, and a track record of process transformation and client workshops.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Telecom Operations, Network Maintenance, Enterprise Asset Management, or Maintenance IT.
• Strong hands-on functional experience with IBM Maximo or SAP PM and FSM solution.
• Understanding telecom infrastructure assets including network equipment, transmission systems, fiber networks, towers, power systems, and data center assets.
• Experience leading business process transformation and maintenance optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform consulting engagements in the Telecom domain covering Tower Infrastructure Maintenance, Network Equipment Maintenance, Fiber Network Operations & Maintenance, Field Service Management
• Support business development activities by converting opportunities into wins through value-driven solutions and domain-led client discussions.
• Support pre-sales activities including RFP/RFI responses, estimations, and client workshops
• Assess maintenance processes, asset management capabilities, and system maturity of telecom operators and infrastructure providers and define transformation roadmaps.
• Lead business process assessments, solution blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and functional design workshops.
• Drive digital maintenance initiatives including predictive maintenance, condition-based monitoring, mobile workforce enablement, and asset performance management.

• Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure assets, including network equipment, transmission systems, fiber networks, towers, power systems, and data center assets.
• Experience leading business process transformation and maintenance optimization initiatives.

Preferred / Good to Have :

• Experience with FSM solution (IFS, Sales force)
• Experience with IoT, AI/ML-based predictive maintenance, digital twins, and reliability analytics.
• Knowledge of Telecom OSS/BSS ecosystems and network operations processes.
