Job summary

Bondada is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Utility/Infra to lead telecom utility operations and maintenance. The role drives uptime, safety compliance, and energy efficiency across site infrastructure.

The candidate will manage field teams, coordinate with clients, and ensure continuous improvement in utility performance while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a dynamic telecom environment.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of telecom utilities/O&M experience.
• B.E./B.Tech in EEE is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility field teams to maximize network uptime.
• Plan and execute utility infrastructure activities (power systems, small cell utility support).
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance across sites.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs and standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients for issue resolution.
• Identify utility risks and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical docs, reports, and MIS.
• Monitor utility alarms and ensure timely closure.
• Adhere to QHSE and fire safety guidelines.
• Drive energy optimization and continuous improvement.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) – Mandatory

The Utility SME is responsible for managing utility operations, ensuring high network availability, leading field teams, maintaining utility infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role involves planning, execution, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement of utility operations across telecom sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage utility field teams to ensure maximum network uptime.
• Plan and execute utility infrastructure activities, including power systems and small cell utility support.
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities across telecom sites.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and operational standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients for issue resolution and project execution.
• Identify utility risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and MIS.
• Monitor utility alarms and ensure timely closure.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE), and fire safety guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize utility performance and energy efficiency.
• Support audits, inspections, and client reviews.

• Sound knowledge of telecom utility systems, DGs, batteries, SMPS, electrical panels, and power infrastructure.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS reporting.

Preferred Skills:
