Job summary

Voltech HR Services (VHRS) seeks a telecom design engineer to develop system block diagrams, equipment layouts, and cabling plans for PAGA, CCTV, and telecommunications projects. You will ensure interfaces between systems, rack layouts, and room arrangements while coordinating with vendors and project teams.

The role covers FEED through detailed engineering phases, FAT/SAT activities, and handover. Prior experience with industrial communication protocols and Alarm/ESD interfaces is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with PAGA system architecture, zoning, and alarms.
• Knowledge of CCTV IP/analogue architectures and VMS/NVR integration.
• Understanding of telecom systems including LAN/WAN, fiber, and access control.
• Familiarity with interfaces to DCS/SCADA or similar control systems.

Responsibilities

• Create telecom system block diagrams and overall architecture.
• Define interfaces, fiber/copper connectivity, and redundancy considerations.
• Prepare MR (material requisitions) and datasheets for telecom equipment.
• Develop design documents: system blocks, layouts, cable schedules, I/O schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

The engineer should have strong experience with:

• PAGA (Public Address & General Alarm) system architecture, zoning, speaker/horn selection, amplifiers, controllers, interfaces, and cause & effect.
• CCTV IP/analog CCTV architecture, cameras, VMS/NVR, storage, network switches, monitors, UPS, fiber/copper connectivity, and hazardous-area requirements.
• Telecommunication systems — telephone, intercom, radio, LAN/WAN, fiber optic, access control, and other project-specific systems.
• Industrial communication — interfaces with DCS, ESD, F&G, SCADA, and other control systems where applicable.
