Job summary

PeopleStrong in India seeks an experienced telecom and VoIP engineer to design, deploy and support complex systems, including SIP servers, IP-PBX, gateways, routers and switches. You will configure, tune and monitor VoIP performance while ensuring high availability across PAGA, CCTV, RTU, SCADA, and access control systems.

You will work to international standards, assess hazardous area classifications, and coordinate with field teams to deliver scalable telecom solutions that meet business

Qualifications

• Experience in telecom design basis and VoIP deployment.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Hazardous area classification knowledge and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain VoIP equipment and SIP servers.
• Monitor VoIP performance, capacity and availability.
• Handle telecom networks (fiber, LAN/WAN) and related systems (PAGA, CCTV, SCADA).

Job description

• The candidate should be conversant with Systems such as Telephone/In plant paging/PAGA/CCTV /ACS/Data network/SCS/ VSAT, TETRA/DMR, Wireless radio (VHF/UHF), GSM systems, etc. Knowledge of international and domestic good engineering practices Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
• Knowledge of Hazardous area classification & protection philosophies.
• Experience in making Telecom Design Basis and deploying VoIP solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Configuring and maintaining VoIP equipment and software, including SIP servers, IP PBX systems, gateways, routers, and switches.
• Monitoring and optimizing VoIP system performance, capacity, and availability.
• Handle telecom systems, telecom networks (including fiber optic networks), and other systems like RTU, SCADA, PAGA, CCTV, access control systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Satellite Transmission Systems VSAT, Radio, LAN/ WAN, telephone & video conferencing.
