Job summary

Orchestra Telecom Services seeks a skilled CAD technician to prepare telecom/ELV drawings using AutoCAD, focusing on block diagrams, architectures, layouts, and termination schedules. You will develop CCTV, access control, PAGA, and LAN/WAN layouts, and support IFC reviews by integrating Autodesk Docs feedback.

• Strong ability to prepare and maintain telecom/ELV drawings.
• Experience coordinating with engineers to resolve interface issues.
• Ability to incorporate review comments into CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain telecom/ELV engineering drawings using AutoCAD Block Diagrams, System Architectures, Layouts, and Termination Schedules.
• Develop drawings/layouts for CCTV (PTZ/IP), Access Control, PAGA, Intrusion Detection, structured cabling, fiber optic, and LAN/WAN systems.
• Support IFC technical reviews – incorporate comments/markups from Autodesk Docs Reviews into CAD drawings in a timely manner.
• Support As-Built documentation by updating drawings to reflect verified “as-installed” terminations and configurations.
• Assist in preparing termination schedules, cable schedules, and junction box/panel termination details.
• Coordinate with the Project Engineer/Lead Engineer to resolve drawing discrepancies and interface issues.
• Support development of technical specifications, datasheets, and material take-offs as required.
• Maintain drawing revision control and ensure documentation aligns with project and client standards.
