Job summary

Cadmaxx is seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer in Bengaluru to handle various responsibilities including network security, system configuration, and project engineering. The role requires expertise in Security Automation Systems and CCNA/CISCO certification is mandatory. Responsibilities include designing engineering documentation, managing project deliverables, and training team members. This position offers a one-year extendable contract and requires both technical proficiency and leadership in engineering tasks.

Qualifications

Key responsibilities:

• Security Automation Systems CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, Perimeter protection Systems
• Public Address and General Alarm Systems (PAGA)
• Data Networks LAN/WAN, Network Security and IP telephony
• Radio communications VHF/UHF, Point to Multi Point radio, TETRA, Microwave radio transmission.
• Building Structured Cabling and OSP cabling network
• Fiber Optic Communication Networks SDH and DWDM

Routing OSPF, EIGRP, static and Default. Switching VLAN Configuration, STP, RSTP, PVST, MST and Ether-channel, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP. Port security, Private VLAN configuration.

Shall have Experience in preparing Engineering Documentation, Design Specification, Cabinet/Panel GA and Wiring Drawing, Heat Dissipation and power Consumption, Building Layouts, Field Layouts and Test Procedure.

• Experience in building test strategy & test plans, understanding standards and regulatory requirements.
• Hands on experience in handling and configuring wired & wireless network topologies, Firewalls and Network Security. Hands on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting of networking devices.
• Efficient in Preparing Coverage study Wireless Network.

• Efficient in Preparing Coverage study for PAGA, RADIO, CCTV Storage Calculation will be preferable.
• Assistance in Project's Engineering Planning and Monitoring
• Assign responsibilities and delegate authorities within the discipline
• Implement and monitor the quality systems, procedures as required
• Resolution of Key technical issues and Interface with customer
• Resolution of Technical & Quality issues with concerned discipline and provide technical guidance to the team

• Interface with Project managers of various Projects regarding key engineering discipline issues
• Involve in kick off meetings with client
• Check all Engineering deliverables, pertaining to a project, prior to issue
• Participate in Design reviews, weekly and monthly meetings etc.
• Training of Engineers and draftsmen reporting to self-Responsible for timely communication of various activity across the inter department like production, Administration etc

• Shall have Experience in System Configuration, Site Survey, FAT, Commissioning, SAT. Ensures successful Project closeout.
• Project reporting to customer and management.
