Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Telecaller role based in Madurai South. The Telecaller will handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, provide information about services, and respond to queries in a clear and courteous manner. Daily responsibilities include maintaining call records, updating customer details in the system, and following communication scripts while adapting to individual caller needs. The role involves generating leads, scheduling appointments, and supporting sales and customer support teams through timely follow-ups. The Telecaller is also expected to meet call and conversion targets, adhere to company policies, and contribute to a professional and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong verbal communication skills, active listening abilities, and clear telephone etiquette.
• Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, familiarity with CRM or call management tools, and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Candidates should possess customer service skills, including empathy, problem-solving, and the ability to handle objections or complaints professionally.
• Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills to manage high call volumes and follow-up activities effectively.
• Candidates should possess a collaborative mindset and the ability to work with sales, support, and operations teams.
• Proficiency in English and regional languages, prior telecalling or customer support experience, and knowledge of BPO/ITES practices are beneficial.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or training in communications, business, or related fields is an advantage.
