Job summary

STL Digital Ltd. in Pune is seeking a senior network engineer with 8–16 years of experience to lead DC and IP core operations. You will design and deploy Leaf-Spine architectures, DC gateways, and multi-vendor networks using EVPN/VXLAN and SR technologies.

The role requires strong expertise in Nokia, Cisco, and Juniper platforms, plus automation skills with Python, Netconf, and REST APIs to streamline tasks and runs.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of IS-IS, OSPF, MP-BGP, IPv4/IPv6, BFD, QoS policies.
• MPLS, LDP, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing, EVPN, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, L2/L3 VPNs, and Leaf-Spine overlays.
• Hands-on with Nokia routers and Cisco/Juniper platforms.
• Unix/Linux, Netconf, REST APIs, SDN/NFV concepts, and Python-based network automation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and independent execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end DC & IP Core operations: config, maintenance, L3 troubleshooting across SP and Telco networks.
• Design, validate, and execute LLD/HLD, MOPs, ATPs for Leaf-Spine architectures and DC gateways.
• Deploy and support BGP EVPN, VXLAN overlays, L2/L3 VPNs, SR, and TE across multi-vendor fabrics.
• Perform CLI-based configuration, node migrations, and upgrades across Nokia, Cisco, and Juniper.
• Automate validation and config pushes using Python, Netmiko, Jinja, REST APIs, Netconf, and Linux tools.
• Mentor team members and liaise with customer engineering teams for escalations.

Responsibilities

• DC & IP Core Operations: Lead end-to-end operation, configuration, maintenance, and L3 troubleshooting across Service Provider and Telco Data Center networks.
• Network Integration & Architecture: Design, validate, and execute LLD/HLD, MOPs, and ATPs for Leaf-Spine architectures, Data Center Gateways (DCGW), and IP/MPLS core networks.
• Overlay & Service Deployment: Deploy and support BGP EVPN, VXLAN overlays, L2/L3 VPNs (VPRN, VPLS, IES), Segment Routing, and Traffic Engineering across multi-vendor node fabrics.
• Multi-Vendor Management: Perform CLI-based configuration, node migrations, and software/hardware upgrades across Nokia (SR OS, SR Linux, 7750 SR, 7250 IXR, WBX210), Cisco, and Juniper platforms.
• Automation & Tools: Leverage Python, Netmiko, Jinja, REST APIs, Netconf, and Linux OS tools to automate network validation, configuration pushes, and operational tasks.
• Team Leadership & Client Interface: Provide technical mentorship, conduct root-cause analysis (RCA), and interface directly with customer engineering teams for project execution and complex escalations
