Job summary

Broadridge India is seeking an experienced senior Java developer to design, develop and maintain scalable software solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Core/Advanced Java, JSP, Spring MVC/Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and DB2 with proficiency in SQL and stored procedures.

Qualifications

• : 7 to 10 years of experience with Java (Core and Advanced).
• - Hands-on experience with JSP, Spring Framework (Spring MVC / Spring Boot), and JPA/Hibernate.
• - Strong knowledge of DB2 with proven experience writing queries and stored procedures.
• - Experience in building and consuming Web Services (SOAP and REST APIs).
• - Solid understanding of front-end technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML.
• - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• - Experience with version control systems (Git).
• - Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular and jQuery.
• - Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven/Gradle).
• - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short-and-long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure.
• Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions.
• Provides application software development services typically in a defined project.
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
• May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment.
