Job summary

Broadridge India is seeking an experienced automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java. You will work on core Java concepts, multithreading, and OOP, while building backend services with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.

The role involves creating robust automation frameworks and scripts, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and Rest Assured. Brokerage domain experience is a plus.

• Build and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Identify high-value manual test cases and automate them.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java
• Work on core Java, collections, exception handling, multithreading, and OOP concepts
• Develop backend services using Spring / Spring Boot
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party systems, and internal services
• Work on deployment, release, and environment support activities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java
• Build automated test scripts for UI, API, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Use tools such as:
• Selenium WebDriver/ TestNG / Junit/ Cucumber / BDD/. Rest Assured
• Identify high-value manual test cases and convert them into automation scripts
• Maintain robust, reusable, and scalable automation suites
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines
