Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Engineering with 1–3 years of experience in heavy engineering or machine shop.
• Ability to solve problems and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of CNC turning and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety First - always.
• Execute the production as per Plan.
• Ensure the Processes & Documentation as per ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, 45001:2018 Systems.
• Output of all assembly, Welding and machining operations being performed.
• Quality Assurance for all the operations being performed.
• Perform the daily maintenance of Machines as per the Check List and guidance from Maintenance.
• Plan the operations to maximize the utilization of machines, equipment, manpower etc.
• Improvements in the Assembly, Welding and machining operations to reduce pk.
• Movement of material from one work centre to another work centre as per shop traveller and as per process requirements.
• Interaction with Production planning, purchasing, maintenance, Design and Quality for day-to-day operations.
• Implementation of Corrective and Preventive actions for the non-conformances observed.
• Ensure on time Entries in Movex for Assembly, Welding and machining operations.
• Attending daily production meeting for discussing the priorities, issues.
• Attending daily NC Review meeting for discussing the root cause, Corrective actions etc.
• Training of contract people in Assembly, Welding and machining operations.
• Attending the various training programs as decided by management and self to improve the knowledge and skill.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE / FUNCTIONAL CONTEXT:

Technologist (RGU Production) will be responsible to operate and maintain the CNC equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company. This position works with machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, material handling, and coordination with quality, engineering & design departments.

Education Qualification –

Qualification and Experience: Diploma/B.E./B. Tech - in Engineering with 1 to 3 years of experience in Heavy Engineering Industry/Machine Shop/Thread Rolling Operation with ability of Problem solving.
