Job summary

Jaivel Aerospace is seeking an Associate - Manufacturing (CNC Turning & Inspection) to join a fast-paced technical environment. You will independently perform most tasks within the CNC turning and inspection scope, ensuring that customers receive a high-quality product built to exact specifications.

The role requires 2+ years of experience with 3-5 axis turning, GD&T, and proficiency with Siemens and Fanuc controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CNC turning and inspection.
• Experience with 3-5 Axis turning and high-precision components.
• Knowledge of GD&T, fits and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform inward inspection of incoming material for CNC turning.
• Set up work-holding and perform turning per process docs.
• Operate 3-5 axis CNC machines with Siemens/Fanuc controls.
• Deburr, clean and inspect machined parts to meet specs.
• Maintain documentation for operation, inspection and quality systems.
• Collaborate with Design, APQP and Assembly teams to meet customer requirements.
• Identify and address non-conformances to minimize project impact.

About the Role:

We are looking foran Associate - Manufacturing (CNC Turning & Inspection), whothrives in a high performance and fast paced technicalenvironment. As an Associate within the Manufacturing (CNCTurning & Inspection) team, you will be responsible forindependently performing most function tasks, ensuring that ourcustomer receives a great product.

What you'll deliver:

• Work to teamplan & deliver your tasks on-time & within budget
• Evaluate yourwork progress to the plan and make required course corrections
• Inwardinspection of incoming material for cnc turning
• Pre-turning& setting of work-holding as per turning strategydefined in process documentation
• Accuratelybuild cutting tools as per tool list and set the job onmachine as per process documentation
• Understandturning strategy and ensure safe and efficient operation of3-5 Axis CNC machines
• Understandpart's form, fit and function in assembly and it's function
• Ensure thatrequired aesthetic and dimensional accuracy is achievedduring turning process
• Deburr, cleanand inspect machined part to validate that all requiredcharacteristics are fully achieved
• Optimiseturning efficiency with regular machine maintenance &Cutting Tool Krib organisation
• Duly completeoperation, inspection and quality systems documentation
• Work withDesign, APQP and Assembly team to ensure that customerrequirements are met
