Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Sr. Service Engineer for SK Mine in Udaipur, Rajasthan to lead maintenance and safety compliance. The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment availability, with emphasis on RCA and documentation.

You will supervise technicians, manage shifts, and mentor the team while ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality targets at the SK Mines site in India.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiar with diesel engines and electrical/electronic systems.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• MS Excel and reporting tools proficiency.

Position: Sr. Service Engineer - SK Mine

Job Description:

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety standards.
• Promote Zero Harm culture and safe work practices.
• Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE, LOTO procedures, and risk assessments.

Maintenance Operations

• Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
• Minimize machine downtime by improving MTTR and increasing MTBF.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance documentation.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide to technicians.
• Allocate manpower effectively across shifts.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Train and mentor team members to improve technical competency.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure timely closure of work orders in the maintenance management system.
• Prepare technical reports, RCA reports, and improvement plans.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
