Diploma Engineer Trainee – Mechanical / Production
Technobotix Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is aninnovation-driven engineering company. We are expanding our mechanical /production team and seeking enthusiastic diploma holders to train and grow withus as we develop new mechanical products and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in assembly operations of mechanical systems andcomponents under supervision.
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T (GeometricDimensions & Tolerating) principles.
- Work with suppliers for new component development—ensuring quality,timelines, and coordination.
- Use various mechanical tools and power tools safely andeffectively.
- Work with materials (metals, plastics) and apply basic materialknowledge in practical tasks.
- Use measurement and inspection instruments (vernier calipers,micrometers, gauge blocks, etc.) to verify parts meet specifications.
- Understand and assist in manufacturing processes: VMC /CNC machining, turning, milling, EDM, sheet metal work, surface treatments(electroplating, powder coating, laser cutting, bending, marking).
- Learn basic metallurgy and heat treatment processes,their effects on material properties.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives—identify areas forprocess optimization and efficiency.
- Maintain documentation: component specs, inspection logs,process sheets, deviations, supplier records.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Production / Manufacturing Engineering (orequivalent).
- Freshers are welcome; up to 1 year of relevant internship /hands-on experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Good ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Familiarity with mechanical tools (Allen keys, screwdrivers,wrenches, cutters, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of materials (metals, plastics) and how theybehave under various conditions.
- Competency using measuring / inspection instruments accurately.
- Understanding (or willingness to learn) manufacturingprocesses: machining (lathe, milling, VMC), sheet metal, EDM, surfacetreatment.
- Basic understanding of metallurgy / heat treatment processes and their effects on materials.
